Max Weight: Unlimited
We can move any size safe or vault door, depending on the pathway. Unobstructed flat pathways with no dimensional restrictions (such as framing or exterior fixtures) do not have a weight limit. However, they may require specialty equipment above and beyond what we have regularly on hand.
Our max weight for moving safes up or down a flight of stairs is 1,800 - 2,000 pounds. In order to accommodate safes of this weight, we will take the door off and move it in pieces. While this isn’t commonly done, it is something we offer.
We have also moved safes extremely heavy safes with specialty equipment, such as heavy jacks or cranes. Specialty jobs such as this are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. They are often done during the construction or remodeling phase of a project.

As their schedule allows, Boush Moving & Storage will accommodate immediate moves. If you need your safe moved and they aren’t able to move it that day, they will typically refer you to our moving services.
Local moves provided by Boush Moving & Storage are typically completed within the safe day, including boxing, loading, transporting, and unloading. Intra-state moves (moves over 55 miles) are typically completed in two days. During two-day moves, valuables are stored in our locked facility that’s monitored by a 24-hour security guard.
