This is the original Fort Knox Mailbox design that started it all. The Small Standard features a 3/16” Plate Steel surrounded by a 1⁄4” Plate Steel Body which is 2-3 times the steel thickness of standard locking mailboxes and essential for having a real high security mailbox. The deep recessed door adds pry protection and the high performance powder coated finish inside and out will protect your mailbox from the elements. The all hand welded design adds strength not found in most spot welded budget locking mailboxes.

This mailbox is a “Limited Service” Mailbox, and is set up for incoming mail only. The mail-carrier inserts the incoming mail into the slot (9.5″W x 1.75″H). The body of the mailbox has an overhang that will provide protection from vandalism and rain. The door is held closed with an included 7 pin tubular pick-proof lock.
