Is This the Right Fit?
Measure your shelf before you choose a size. You need 9.5 inches of depth front to back and 7 inches of clearance above the shelf, whichever slot count you pick. The 12-slot needs 25 inches of open width, which is wider than the usable shelf in many mid-size gun safes.
Buy one size up from your current count if you are still adding guns. Slot racks fill faster than most owners expect, and a half-empty 8-slot costs the same shelf space as a full 6-slot.
One honest limit: this is an organizer, not a security device. The rack holds and protects your pistols, and your safe or locked cabinet is what secures them.
