Do We Stock ISM Safes & How Fast Can You Get One?

At NW Safe, we do stock ISM safes — but due to high demand, availability can change quickly. The Super Platinum series, in particular, tends to sell out fast.

To keep up with demand, we have ongoing orders placed directly with the ISM factory in Israel. We also maintain multiple warehouses on both the East and West coasts, so we can ship from the location closest to you.

If we have your desired safe in stock, we can usually ship and deliver it within 1–2 weeks, depending on your location.

If we need to place a new order, you can expect a lead time of about 90 days. That includes production time at the factory and shipping via ocean freight. We typically bring in new containers every quarter to ensure a steady supply.

How Does Delivery Work?

Once you reserve your ISM safe, the delivery process begins. And we take this part very seriously.

1. Thorough Inspection and Packaging

Before your safe leaves our warehouse, our team carefully inspects it and packages it to prevent any possible damage during its journey. This step is crucial. The most common time a safe gets damaged is during transit, simply because they weren’t packaged correctly.

2. Dedicated Freight Trucks

We use dedicated trucks to move your safe from Point A to Point B — with no extra stops. That means your safe isn’t transferred between terminals or offloaded multiple times, reducing the chance of damage to your safe.

3. Installation & Set-Up

Most ISM safes are extremely heavy, ranging from 1,000 lbs to over 8,000 lbs. That’s why we highly recommend using a professional installer. If you’re in the Northwest region, our team handles the installation personally. We’ll:

• Deliver your safe right to its final location

• Properly level it (which is important for door swing and smooth use)

• Go over how to use the lock

• Haul away all the packaging materials

If you’re outside the Northwest, we’ll help coordinate with one of our trusted installation partners.

4. Important Note: Bolt-Down Holes

ISM safes do not always come with bolt-down holes unless you request them. If that’s important to you, let us know at the time of order so it can be done at the factory.

5. Want to Handle Offloading Yourself?

That’s possible — but we strongly encourage all customers to consider if they have skills and tools to safely move a safe of this size. Not being fully equipped can pose serious risks of both property damage and physical injury.

If you do choose to handle the offloading and installation, you will need either:

• A proper loading dock

• Or heavy-duty equipment to move the safe
